Friday January 4 – Mystic Café Presents First Friday Open Mic – 7-9pm at the Center. $5 cover charge.  Here’s your chance! Tell a story or read a poem, sing a song or juggle plates – you’ll never find a safer, kinder place to experiment with your own creativity! Come early to make sure you are on the signup sheet. Sweet treats available; artisans show their wares as well.

Monday January 7 – CLASS STARTS! Communing with the Infinite. This 6-part Meditation class with Lisa Ferraro will teach you how to begin a meditation practice, or help you move deeper into your practice if you are already a meditator. Monday evenings 6:30 – 8:30pm. Dates: Jan 7, 14, 21, 28, Feb. 11 and 18. Tuition: $120. CLASS FULL!

Thursday January 10 – BOOK STUDY: A Return to Love – Marianne Williamson. Linda Farrenkopf, RScP, will host this book study group in her home for 5 weeks starting Thursday, January 10th   7-9pm.  In Marianne Williamson’s book, “A Return to Love”, she shares her interpretation of the principles in A Course in Miracles.  No Fee.  Sign up at the Information Table to attend. Tuesday January 15 – CLASS STARTS: Creating Dynamic Workshops and Classes. This 4-class series with Rev. Molly will guide you from idea to presentation of your very own workshop. You’ll learn about how adults learn, and the difference between teaching and facilitating for high impact. You’ll present a portion of your workshop to the class for evaluation and feedback. Bring your idea and we’ll make it real!  Tuesday evenings 6:30 – 9pm. Dates: Jan 15, 22, 29, Feb 5. Tuition: $99.  Location: Global Academy for Energetic Education. There’s still room!

Wednesday January 16 – CLASS STARTS: Ignite Your Light. 8 Wednesdays starting January 16 from 7-9pm facilitated by Kristen Peairs, RScP (Class takes place at her home). This eight-week course is designed to support you in getting powerfully connected with your soul purpose – the unique gift you were born to share with the world. You can expect to become so clear about your soul purpose that you breathe it, and it breathes you. When you are this connected to your purpose, the result is increased ease, light, vitality, freedom, and discernment in every choice you make. Participants will learn seven ways your soul purpose journey can be easier; play with two strategies to create clarity when you need it most; and create a personalized map to the freedom of your brightest light yet. Tuition: $200.00

Saturday January 26 – Making It In 2019: A Year of Artistic Discovery and Deep Story Telling Each 4th Saturday of each month Carol Whitt will facilitate this workshop in her home studio.  You are all invited to participate by sculpting in clay and writing the story that goes with it.  Each session is $20; will take place the 4th Saturday of every month and is from 4-7pm. Each class is limited to 8 students. Sunday January 27 – noon – 2:30pm – Leadership Council Meeting. Calling all team leaders! Grab your leader in training and come to lunch. At 12:15 we’ll give you an update on our Good to Great progress and discuss ways our teams can prepare for growth and development. We’ll finish with a huddle with your Leader Champions. Please, let every team be represented at this meeting!

Sunday February 3 – Guest Speaker, Rev. CC Coltrain. Rev. CC is the Provost of Holmes Institute and the School of Ministry for Centers for Spiritual Living. After the Celebration Rev. CC will share about the path to ministry with all those interested in the process. Welcome, CC!

Sunday February 10 – Bring and Friend for Soup ‘N Share!   Also that afternoon:

  • New Member Orientation – join Rev. Catherine Bliss over lunch to learn what it means to be a member in this community. No fee.
  • What’s a Practitioner? – Join Rev. Ami Papadopulo over lunch to learn what a practitioner does and education path to achieve this designation. No fee.

Tuesday February 12 – BOOK STUDY: Spiritual Economics by Eric Butterworth. 6 Tuesday evenings via ZOOM. A community thrives when individuals thrive! Join with other community members electronically on ZOOM for this 6-week study group. No fee – ZOOM is easy, and you can participate from your own home; all you need is an internet connection. You’ll provide (and read!) your own book, Spiritual Economics, by Eric Butterworth. Facilitated by Rev. Molly.
