Sunday June 30 – Graduation / Installation.  2pm at the Center. Everyone is encouraged to attend this event to celebrate the graduation of our five new practitioner interns: Dan DuLuard, Anne Strayer, Tammy Evans, Kristen Wilcock and Sara Awad and our newest ministerial graduate, Dana Horton. We’ll formally install our two new staff ministers, Rev. Erin Marie Szymanski and Rev. Ami Papadopulo. A dessert reception will follow to round out the afternoon.

JULY

Friday July 5 – Mystic Café Presents First Friday Open Mic – 7-9pm at the Center. $5 cover charge.  Tell a story or read a poem, sing a song or juggle plates – you’ll never find a safer, kinder place to experiment with your own creativity! Come early to make sure you are on the signup sheet. Sweet treats available; artisans show their wares as well. This month’s Café sponsored Christopher Salomone. Sunday July 14 – Bring a Friend / Soup N Share. Stay after the Celebration for a light meal and stimulating conversation. Calling all soup-makers, casserole makers or one dish makers – your culinary skills are appreciated!

Sunday July 14 – New Member Orientation Part 1 with Rev. Catherine Bliss. Join Rev. Catherine for soup in the Community Room and learn about membership in our organization. No charge. Part 2 is in September.

Wednesday July 17 – Soul Session: Sacred Music and Meditation, 7-8:30pm Join Lisa Ferraro and friends for this deep meditation, joining poetry and music with silence for complete soul refreshment.

Saturday July 27 – Making It In 2019: A Year of Artistic Discovery and Deep Story Telling Carol Whitt will facilitate this workshop in her home studio.  You are all invited to participate by sculpting in clay and writing the story that goes with it.  Each session is $20; subsequent months will take place on the 4th Saturday of every month from 4-7pm. Each class is limited to 8 students. Sunday July 28 – Circles of Change, noon to 1pm. Directly after the Celebration, all are invited to a short discussion and process to help deal with the changes that are happening in our Center. It’s a time to grieve the parting of our Spiritual Leader, and to make way for extraordinary things to happen in the process of engaging a new leader.

Caminin önünde ve iki yanında geniş cami halısı dış avlusu olup bunun çevresi pencereli duvarlarla çevrilidir. Bu avulya 3 ü cephede olmak üzere, 8 kapıdan girilir. Şadırvan avlusu, 26 adet granit mermer ve porfir sütuna oturtulmuş, 30 kubbeyle çevrili geniş alandır. Mermer döşemeli bu geniş sahanın ortasında 6 mermer sütunlu şadırvan, sahanın azametini gösterir. Şadırvanın kemerleri, kabartma olarak Rumi geçmelerle ve köşebentleri, kabartma, lale ve karanfil motifleriyle bezelidir. İç avluya, biri cepheden ikisi yandan olmak üzere herbiri merdivenli 3 kapıdan girilmektedir.

Dekoru farklı yapan ise, halıdaki desen, ipliğin kalitesi ve motifteki göz alıcı tasarımlardır. Betonarme zemini kaplamasının dışında cemaatin rahat bir şekilde ibadet etmesini sağlayan cami halıları kaliteli malzemelerden ipliklerden üretilir. Halının dokusundaki sıklıkla orantılı olan kalite, dokunulduğunda kendini belli eder. Bu avulya 3 ü cephede olmak üzere, sekiz kapıdan girilir.
